A MANUAL
SETUP SERVICE:
We
have noticed over the past couple of years that the vast majority
of our clients have actually preferred to use our manual set-up
service in order to feel more 'comfortable' with the procedures
of getting a website online. Accordingly, we removed our fully
automated service in 2008 but don't charge
any extra for providing a manual set-up service.
We believe this is also because many
of our clients like to know that they are dealing with a human
being and therefore have no worries about entering
or receiving information compared to an automated system.
Only the actual hosting purchasing is now automated, with orders going
though our own online store and payments being handled through PayPal.
This makes considerable sense
for those who are new to the web and makes for a much
easier experience.
Although this may take slightly longer to handle at our end than
an automated service, there is definitely a 'comfort' in
knowing that you are receiving a personal touch and assistance, and the delay is absolutely minimal.
DOMAIN
NAME PURCHASE:
We can purchase your domain name on your behalf if you wish,
as a domain name is required in addition to
hosting. We only offer this service when hosting is also being ordered from us as it allows us
to alter the DNS references at the time of purchase. We do not provide a domain
name only service.
For the UK cheques
are still acceptable, but clearance will be required first.
